Missions  As an IT Team Leader, you will lead a team of Data Engineers and contribute to the design of strategic data solutions for our clients in the aeronautics sector. Your missions will include:  Leadership & Team Management  Supervising a team of Data Engineers: Skill development and performance evaluation. 

Promoting collaboration: Interface between technical teams, business units, and stakeholders (clients, suppliers, etc.). 

Agile project management: Structuring the team and delivery by following the Scrum methodology.

Types of activities to supervise  Refining requirements with the client 

Definition of architecture and industrialization of data pipelines 

Modeling and implementation of interactive dashboards 

Cross-functional support activities for client data ingestion and cleaning 

Client Orientation & Services   Understanding business needs: Collaborating closely with client teams to identify data challenges and propose suitable solutions.

Ensuring technical support: Responding to end-user requests, resolving incidents, and guaranteeing client satisfaction.

Leading service reviews: Regularly presenting deliverables, gathering feedback, and adjusting priorities accordingly.

Support & Training   Training teams on best practices (Python, Spark, SQL, aeronautical tools such as Skywise).

Documenting and sharing: Writing technical guides and hosting workshops to capitalize on expertise.

Technical Environment   Languages/Tools: Python, SQL 

Platforms: Skywise 

Data: fleet performance 

Visualization: Qlik Sense, Contour (Palantir proprietary tool) 

Technical Skills  Education: Engineering school degree or Master's in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or Aeronautics. 

Experience: 

5+ years in IT Project Management 

Experience in the aeronautics sector or on platforms like Skywise (a plus)

Proficiency: 

Agile Methodologies: Scrum, Kanban 

Tools: Jira, Confluence, GSuite 

Knowledge of time optimization related to the use of AI is appreciated 

Soft Skills  Leadership: Ability to unite a team and carry a technical vision.

Client orientation: Service mindset and ability to understand and anticipate end-user needs.

Pedagogy: Ease in training and supporting junior/senior profiles.

Rigor: Keen sense of data quality and processes.

Communication: Fluent technical English (written/oral).
