Your tasks

To strengthen its Networks and Telecom division, the Information Systems Department of the ALTEN group is recruiting a Network and Telecom Engineer specializing in administration and maintenance of network infrastructures and security, reporting to the Network and Telecom Domain Manager.

Main Missions

  • Intervene on the maintenance in operational condition (MCO) of Network and Telecom infrastructures, including Cisco equipment (Catalyst, Nexus 7K, 9K, ASR), HP Switches, and security solutions (Fortinet Firewall, HA Proxy, Proxy Cloud, Bluecoat, McAfee).
  • Contribute to the management of domain projects, by ensuring performance monitoring, processing of alerts and incidents, as well as the follow-up of corrective actions.
  • Administer security equipment (Firewalls, Proxy) and WiFi solutions.
  • Automate tasks via scripts (GitHub, Ansible, AWX, Shell, VBA) to optimize operations.
  • Produce the following deliverables:
  • Architecture and operational files.
  • Intervention reports and change/incident declarations.
  • Participation in project steering committees.

Requirements

Education / Experience

  • Graduate of an engineering school or holder of a Master's degree (Bac+5)
  • Minimum 6 years of experience (excluding work-study programs)

Technical Skills

  • Mastery of Cisco (Switches, Routers) and HP equipment.
  • In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, WiFi, and network security solutions (Fortinet, Proxy).
  • Experience in scripting (Ansible, AWX, Shell, VBA) and network project management.

Personal Qualities

  • Ability to analyze performance and resolve incidents.

Languages and Mobility

  • Professional proficiency in English (written and oral)
