As an Automation Engineer, your mission will be to design, develop, commission, and optimize automated systems for industrial installations. You will work in close collaboration with production and maintenance teams to ensure the proper functioning of the equipment. Your main missions: Design and development of automated solutions: Analyze client needs and propose adapted solutions in terms of automation and control. Programming of PLCs (PLC, PAC) and control-command systems. Commissioning of automated equipment: Install and configure automated systems on-site and perform the necessary tests to guarantee their proper functioning. Travel expected for up to 30% of the time. Optimization of existing system performance: Analyze existing installations, identify areas for improvement, and implement optimization solutions. Maintenance and technical support: Ensure technical follow-up and provide expertise to resolve automation problems encountered in production. Documentation: Write technical specifications, intervention reports, and project follow-up documents.
Required skills: Engineering degree in automation, electrical engineering, or mechatronics (Master's degree or equivalent). Successful experience in a similar position, ideally in an industrial environment. Mastery of automated systems, programmable logic controllers (siemens, Schneider, Rockwell, etc.) and associated programming software (Step7, TIA Portal, etc.). Knowledge of communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet, IEC61850, etc.). Skills in reading electrical diagrams and fault analysis. A good command of technical English is mandatory (C1 level). The pluses: Experience in the automotive, pharmaceutical, or agri-food sector is an asset. Good knowledge of SCADA systems and industrial robots is a plus. You have a methodical approach, are reactive, and enjoy solving complex technical problems.
