Make it happen

YOU…

• take technical responsibility for Usability Engineering and Design Validation in agile development projects – from the early concept phase to market launch
• work as part of our global Customer Experience & Solution Design Team at the Mannheim location in an agile SCRUM setup
• plan, moderate, and evaluate user tests (internal and external) – particularly with a view to safe, intuitive use by patients as well as non-specialist users
• analyze the usability of instructions for use and user interactions to avoid misuse and ensure safe device operation
• create complete usability documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements (e.g., IEC 62366, FDA, MDR)
• consistently represent the voice of the users when defining requirements, product and risk analysis, as well as during design decisions
• manage complex work packages independently, coordinate internal and external partners, and ensure timely, high-quality results
• prepare the approval of medical devices by consolidating all relevant usability and validation results for global markets (e.g., EU, USA, China)

Be our forward thinker

YOU…

• have a completed Master's degree, e.g., in Human Factors Engineering, Psychology, or an engineering or scientific course of study with a corresponding focus
• bring several years of professional experience in the Usability Engineering of medical products or in-vitro diagnostics
• have sound experience in the planning, execution, and evaluation of user tests with different user groups
• think holistically, work in a structured manner, and feel confident in an agile and interdisciplinary environment
• communicate clearly, convincingly, and at eye level – also with international stakeholders
• have business fluent command of English in speaking and writing
