- support the Lead Buyer in strategic purchasing tasks and the implementation of purchasing goals, taking into account security of supply and product quality
- check requirement specifications, manage tenders, and create inquiries as well as purchase orders
- independently conduct negotiations with suppliers and prepare them in a structured manner before and after
- carry out national and international market and demand analyses and create meaningful offer comparisons
- build up supplier relationships, develop them further, and ensure long-term and high-performance cooperation
- identify cost reduction potential and implement suitable measures within the framework of the defined purchasing guidelines
- work closely with project purchasing and cross-functional teams and participate in the further development of eProcurement topics
Be our forward thinker YOU...
- have a completed degree in technical, business, or legal studies or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience
- bring a strong technical affinity and good technical product knowledge
- have good knowledge of contract law and are proficient in using SAP and MS Office
- have fluent English skills in speaking and writing; other foreign languages are an advantage
- work in a structured, independent, and proactive manner and convince through communication and teamwork skills
- appear confident and bring negotiation strength, assertiveness, as well as a high degree of empathy and resilience
- bring the willingness to undertake regular business trips
