International Accounting Manager M/F - ALSTEF Group

Important Note: As this position has a strong international dimension, a fluent level of English is indispensable.

Reporting to the Group Finance Department, you will be in charge of the accounting for foreign subsidiaries and permanent establishments of the Group located notably in:

• EMEA Zone: Germany, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Iceland, Romania, Turkey…
• Americas Zone: Brazil, Canada, Costa Rica, Mexico…
• Others: Morocco, Norway

This accounting is mainly outsourced to specialized firms.

Your missions:

As International Accounting Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Full supervision of accounting operations
• Control and accuracy of monthly and annual accounting situations
• Interaction with the accounting firms of each country and the USA & Canada subsidiaries

In detail:

• Manage communication and respond to all questions from the accounting firms
• Validate tax returns such as VAT / Intrastat / CIT (corporate tax)
• Manage tax matters with the accounting firms
• Control that invoices are entered by the French accounts payable department
• Control that the ERP accounting corresponds to the accounting maintained by the firm
• Enter monthly VAT journal entries in the ERP
• Proceed with the payment of certain supplier invoices, salaries, taxes, and social security contributions
• Transmit all necessary documents and information to the accounting firms

A graduate of higher education, you have a confirmed experience of at least 5 years as an accounting and tax manager or in an accounting firm.

Your experience allows you to position yourself as a financial expert and to be proactive regarding the actions to be taken.

Beyond your technical skills, you are recognized for your interpersonal qualities, your ability to work with operational teams, and your commitment to the success of projects.

Fluent English is indispensable for this position.

LOCATION AND TELEWORKING:

You may be attached to one of our offices in Rennes or Orléans. Ideally, we are looking for a candidate based in one of these regions, or nearby, to encourage interaction with teams and occasional travel to the site.

The position is offered in a hybrid mode, with a flexible organization between teleworking and presence in the office. For the most experienced profiles, full remote working may be considered, taking into account the candidate's location and their ability to travel regularly to our sites.
