Job Description:

As a developer, you will be required to tackle a wide range of complex and unexplored challenges in collaboration with dedicated and skilled engineers, in order to design and implement solutions that position Alstef at the forefront of the industry.

Your Missions:

  • Design and optimization of algorithms: Develop high-performance algorithms in C++ for localization, navigation, energy management, sensor calibration, and computer vision. Ensure robust and real-time optimized solutions in complex environments.
  • Design innovative C++ features to solve recurring operational problems, improving vehicle autonomy, reliability, and safety.
  • Understand and model problems encountered by users to find effective solutions.
  • Actively contribute to team discussions on architecture, design, and code reviews.
  • Manage the entire software lifecycle, including deployment, configuration management, maintenance, updates, and user support.
  • Provide software technical support during vehicle commissioning and operations.

Required Skills / Required Qualities:

  • Mastery of C++ (C++ 2023 and C++ 2026 to come), with a proven ability to produce clear, high-performance, and maintainable code. Very good knowledge of the standard library and its concepts (allocator, template metaprogramming, atomic, etc.)
  • Solid expertise in developing complex algorithms.
  • In-depth knowledge of multithreading techniques, memory management, and performance optimization of C++ applications.
  • Mastery of software engineering practices, including version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, unit testing, and code reviews.
  • Ability to analyze complex issues and design robust solutions based on algorithms, data structures, and object-oriented programming.
  • Proven experience in delivering production-quality C++ software within collaborative and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, allowing for the explanation of technical concepts and the mentoring of less experienced engineers.

Required Degree / Training / Language Skills:

Higher education in computer science, physics, computer engineering, electrical engineering, evidence of exceptional skills in related fields and practical experience in software engineering, or equivalent. Good level of spoken and written English.

Selection Process:
