Pre-Project Control-Command Engineer M/F - ALSTEF Group

You have a fluent level of English, both spoken and written, allowing you to interact effectively with our international clients, partners, and teams. Reporting to our Airport Pre-Project department, you will perform the costing of the Electricity-Automation parts of baggage handling systems for France and Export projects. Your role is to imagine and design, based on the specifications, technical solutions that meet the needs expressed by clients. You will propose the best solutions to our clients in terms of performance, lead time, and cost.

In more detail, your missions are as follows:

• Design the electrical and automation architectures of our systems using the most suitable technologies and optimizing costs,
• Manage subcontracting in your field in areas such as: lighting, CFO-CFA distribution, supervision, video surveillance systems,
• Coordinate various internal stakeholders (engineers from different Bureaux d’Etudes, buyers) and external stakeholders (suppliers, subcontractors), with the aim of obtaining the best services at the best cost,
• Participate in drafting technical offers and support the sales team during client meetings,
• Participate in technological monitoring, the search for new solutions, and new partners.

You have initial experience in sales or management of electrical and/or automation projects. Experience in the fields of automated systems design would also be welcome. You have general knowledge in electricity, automation, and supervision in an industrial environment. Recognized for your dynamism, critical thinking, and synthesis skills, you will be able to fully express your interpersonal and organizational qualities as well as your technical curiosity combined with your taste for managing numerical data. Beyond your experience, it is your desire to design the solutions most suited to our clients' needs around the world that interests us. Fluency in English is indispensable. A second language is also a positive point. Occasional short-term travel (presenting offers to clients, site and supplier visits, etc.) in France and abroad is to be expected.
