Draftsman-Designer - Preliminary Projects M/F - ALSTEF Group

You will work within the Airport Preliminary Projects department (12 people) and in close collaboration with your counterparts within the Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, and IT design offices on projects in France and for Export.

Based on the specifications, you will implement the solutions defined by the system engineer within the project environment. You will design these systems in compliance with company standards, current regulations, schedule, and budget.

After a personalized integration process, your missions will be as follows:

• Analyze the proposed technical solutions, monitoring quality, costs, and deadlines
• Draw and design product construction plans
• Create assembly and consultation plans
• Check the feasibility of elements
• Correct/update plans
• Act as an information relay within the team
• Ensure compliance with system performance and regulatory/safety standards
• Create 3D models of the system
• Perform system sizing calculations (availability, flow, performance.)

With a degree in Mechanical Design or equivalent, you have a successful first experience as a Design Office Technician in the design of mechanical systems and machines.

You possess the following skills:

Knowledge of mechanics and production technology, sizing, and strength of materials.

Knowledge of current standards and regulations in the field.

Mastery of CAD / CAE software (Autodesk suite preferred).

Proficiency in technical English (oral and written) is necessary for this position. Proficiency in a second language would be a plus.

Occasional, short-term travel is to be expected (client presentations, site and supplier visits, ...) in France and internationally.
