ServiceNow Developer

Responsibilities

• Develop, configure and maintain ServiceNow applications and modules based on business requirements.
• Perform ServiceNow configuration, customization and administration, including workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies and ACLs.
• Develop and maintain ServiceNow integrations with internal and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs.
• Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Perform troubleshooting, debugging and resolution of ServiceNow issues and incidents.
• Support platform upgrades, testing, deployment and post-implementation activities.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, configuration guides and knowledge articles.
• Follow ServiceNow development best practices and ensure solutions are scalable and maintainable.
• Provide ongoing support and enhancement for existing ServiceNow applications.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• 1–3 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development.
• Experience with ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, CSM or HRSD will be an advantage.
• Hands-on knowledge of JavaScript, Glide APIs, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies and Workflows/Flow Designer .
• Familiarity with REST/SOAP API integrations and web services.
• Understanding of ServiceNow development lifecycle, testing and deployment processes.
• ServiceNow CSA certification is preferred.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with both technical and business stakeholders.
