Job Summary AlphaMega Electric is looking to recruit a dependable Journeyperson Electrician to perform installation and restoration work on our clients' electrical frameworks. The successful candidate will hold a valid 309A certification and be capable of working on commercial, residential and some industrial assignments. Duties include communicating with clients and performing inspections to diagnose and address electrical issues. Ability to perform these and related undertakings with minimal supervision is a necessary requirement. You should be a critical thinker with experience in all facets of electrical work and commitment to continuous learning and the capacity to mentor apprentices on the team. A work vehicle will be provided.

Your tasks

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial and industrial settings

• Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints

• Troubleshoot electrical issues using hand tools and power tools

-Performing inspections, conducting assessments, and liaising with clients to address issues that warrant attention

• Choosing the most appropriate course of action considering project constraints

• Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently

• Ensure compliance with local electrical codes and safety regulations

Requirements

• Journeyman/Journeywoman Electrician license (309a)

• Proficiency in working with high & low voltage systems

• Experience in building or renovating electrical systems

• Strong knowledge of hand tools and power tools used in the trade

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

-High school diploma or equivalent -Valid G class drivers license with a clean drivers abstract

-Working at Heights / Elevated Work Platforms certificate recommended (WHIMIS certified)

-Excellent critical thinking skills, proficient math skills, observant and thorough

• An active listener with good verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to promptly and respectfully communicate with local regulatory officials and utility suppliers

• Journeyman Electrician: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification

• Drivers Licence (required)
