IT Systems & Network Administrator

Alpha Plan Consultants is seeking a candidate to fill the position of IT Systems & Network Administrator, on behalf of a large, dynamically growing, and leading company in the furniture, decoration, and lighting sector, based in Korinos, Pieria. The position is in-house, requiring full-time and physical presence at the company's facilities. The suitable candidate will be responsible for the smooth, secure, and uninterrupted operation of the information and network infrastructure, with an emphasis on networks, servers, hardware, and system security. We are looking for an organized and responsible professional, with a practical mindset, consistency, the ability to effectively resolve technical issues, and a willingness for the continuous improvement of IT infrastructures.

Main Responsibilities Management, monitoring, and support of corporate LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi networks, as well as network equipment (firewalls, VPN, switches, access points). Management and maintenance of servers, physical and virtualized environments. Installation, configuration, maintenance, and technical support of PCs, laptops, printers, and other hardware. Management of users, access rights, and corporate accounts. Monitoring and strengthening the security of networks and IT infrastructures, implementation of IT security policies, updates, and patch management. Monitoring backup processes and contributing to ensuring correct data recovery. Diagnosis and resolution of problems in hardware, software, and networks, as well as daily technical user support. Collaboration with external partners and suppliers for the support and evolution of information systems. Documentation of the IT infrastructure, configurations, and key processes. Required Qualifications: Studies in Informatics, Computer Engineering, Networks, or a related field. Experience in managing corporate networks and IT infrastructures. Experience in virtualization environments (VMware, Hyper-V, or similar technologies). Very good knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, VPN. Experience with Windows Server and Microsoft environments, with good knowledge of Active Directory, user/group policies, and permissions. Experience with firewalls, switches, routers, and Wi-Fi infrastructure. Understanding of basic principles of cybersecurity, network security, and access control. Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery systems. Ability to diagnose and effectively resolve technical problems. Good knowledge of the English language at a technical level. Desired Qualifications Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and cloud services. Experience in monitoring and endpoint security solutions. Knowledge of NAS/SAN and data storage systems. Certifications in Microsoft, Cisco, Fortinet, or similar technologies will be considered an additional asset. Previous experience in an organized corporate environment with multiple facilities/locations will be appreciated.
