Quality Engineer / Quality Specialist (m/f/d) (Quality Manager)

For our client, we are looking for a Quality Engineer / Quality Specialist (m/f/d) in a technical environment at the earliest possible date. You will take on an important role in ensuring and further developing product and manufacturing quality, working closely with production, purchasing, as well as suppliers and service providers.

Profile

• Completed technical training or comparable qualification, ideally in the field of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related discipline
• Several years of practical experience in quality assurance or quality management in a technical or industrial environment
• Good knowledge of common quality methods and tools, for example 8D, SPC, Ishikawa, or Pareto
• Experience in analyzing quality problems and the sustainable implementation of improvement measures
• Good knowledge of SAP, ideally in the area of logistics and quality management
• Proficient use of common MS-Office applications
• Good written and spoken English skills
• Analytical and structured way of working as well as a strong awareness of quality
• Assertiveness, willingness to take responsibility, and organizational talent
• Strong communication skills and enjoyment of collaborating with production, customers, suppliers, and internal departments

Tasks

• Inspection of components, assemblies, and complete trades based on technical documentation and inspection plans
• Documentation and evaluation of inspection results as well as release or blocking of inspected products
• Support in the qualification and further development of suppliers
• Participation in the optimization of technical drawings and the definition of suitable quality requirements and tolerances
• Recognition, documentation, and evaluation of quality deviations in procurement
• Execution and accompaniment of product acceptances at suppliers and external service providers
• Application of statistical methods for the analysis and improvement of product quality
• Analysis of existing quality and manufacturing processes as well as identification of optimization potential
• Support for production regarding quality deviations and development of suitable measures together with the involved departments
