We are looking for a Konstrukteur Sondermaschinenbau / Mechanical Design Engineer (m/w/d) in Aachen starting immediately.

Profile

• Completed studies in Maschinenbau, Mechatronik, or a comparable technical field
• Professional experience in mechanical design as well as confident handling of 3D-CAD systems, ideally Creo Parametrics
• Experience with PLM-/ERP-Systemen, preferably SAP, as well as knowledge of relevant standards and safety requirements (ISO, CE)
• Good English skills in speaking and writing

Tasks

• Development and design of mechanical components and assemblies for demanding technical systems
• Creation and maintenance of 3D-CAD models, drawings, and technical design documentation
• Design of components taking into account tolerances, thermal loads, pressure, and mechanical stresses
• Support in the integration of automation and motion systems as well as in prototype setups
• Execution or participation in technical risk analyses, FMEA, and the evaluation of simulation results
• Accompanying changes, manufacturing optimizations, and technical improvements throughout the entire product lifecycle
