We are looking for a Project Technologist (m/f/d) in Jena, effective immediately.
This should be in your profile as a Project Technologist
- Experience in project management, ideally in an international environment
- Very good written and spoken English skills, Chinese language skills are an advantage
- Basic technical understanding and willingness to familiarize yourself with relevant products and processes
- Understanding of escalation levels and confident handling of escalation paths
- High level of comprehension and a structured, independent way of working
- Strong networking skills and enjoyment of working in interdisciplinary and intercultural teams
- Willingness to travel and flexibility in a dynamic project environment
In addition to participating in the development of manufacturing-ready product designs, these are your daily To-Do's
- Collaboration in the development of manufacturing strategies for device and component assembly / Systemintegration
- Collaboration in the design transfer from product development to series production
- Testing of assembly, adjustment, and testing concepts together with R&D during the prototype phase
- Collaboration in specifying and implementing workstations, manufacturing equipment, testing equipment, and manufacturing software in preparation for the pre-series
- Sub-project management for a relocation project from Germany to China in the field of ophthalmological medical products
- Holistic coordination of all OPS topics in close coordination with R&D
- Interface function to the local Chinese team as well as to central functions at the German locations
- Ensuring a smooth flow of information between the participating departments and locations
- Creation of regular project reportings within the specified framework
- Acting within existing reporting structures and hierarchies
- Willingness to undertake international business trips (especially to China)
