Alouette Bistro is seeking dedicated and skilled Chef de partie to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. As a Chef de partie, you will play a vital role in preparing high-quality dishes, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards of taste and presentation. This position requires teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

*Duties*

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards.
• Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and equipment.
• Assist in managing inventory levels and ordering supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service.
• Follow all food safety guidelines and regulations for food handling.
• Supervise junior kitchen staff and provide training as necessary.
• Participate in menu planning and development alongside management.

*Qualifications*

• Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
• Experience in restaurant management or supervising kitchen staff is a plus.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate team members.
• Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on quality control.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of food handling safety regulations is essential.
