We are opening 2 Senior Python Backend positions to strengthen the team that builds the technical heart of Aló Credit.

WHAT WILL YOU BUILD?

Robust and scalable backend services that sustain the operation of a regulated Fintech. Every API you design will move real money. Every data model you build will support credit decisions. Every integration with a bureau or a gateway will define whether thousands of Colombians access their next smartphone or not. This is not building features just for the sake of building. It is engineering with a direct impact on the business.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

REST API DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION With FastAPI and/or Django REST Framework. APIs designed to scale, documented, and with clear standards.

DATA MODELING You design and maintain relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL). You think about structures before writing them.

CRITICAL INTEGRATIONS Payment gateways, credit bureaus, financial operators. There are no toy integrations here; each one moves money or defines a score.

CODE REVIEWS AND ARCHITECTURE You actively participate in code reviews, definition of technical standards, and architecture decisions. Your voice matters.

CROSS-FUNCTIONAL TEAMWORK You collaborate with frontend (Angular), Mobile, and QA. You know how to explain your backend to those who do not write it.

CLOUD AND DEPLOYMENT You deploy and maintain services in cloud environments, preferably AWS. Your code does not die on your machine; it lives in production.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO APPLY?

• 4+ years of experience in backend development with Python.
• Mastery of FastAPI and/or Django.
• Experience with ORM (SQLAlchemy, Django ORM).
• Relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Knowledge of Docker and CI/CD flows.
• Management of AWS (EC2, S3, RDS; Lambda is a plus).
• Experience with authentication and authorization (OAuth 2.0, JWT).
• Technical English (reading and writing documentation).

Bonus points:

• Experience in the financial sector, Fintech, or mass consumption.
• Celery, Redis, or queue systems.
• Terraform or infrastructure as code.
• Experience integrating payment gateways or credit bureaus.
