Foundry Operative

We have an exciting opportunity for a Foundry Operative based in Bedfordshire for one our clients on a T emp to Perm basis.

Summary of the Foundry Operative role

• Salary: £14.50 per hour
• Location: Bedfordshire
• Type of contract: Temp to Perm
• Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm

Responsibilities of the Foundry Operative

• Performing tasks within a small foundry producing bronze and aluminium castings
• Using power tools to de burr castings and removing excess materials
• Assisting in general foundry duties
• PPE will be provided

Requirements for a successful Foundry Operative

• Have own transport due to location
• The work is physical and will require candidates to be able to handle reasonably heavy loads
• Working in a foundry environment would be an advantage but not necessary, full training provided
