As an Ambulance Driver, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Safely transport residents to and from the nursing home using the company vehicle.
- Assist wheelchair-bound and mobility-impaired residents with boarding and alighting from the vehicle.
- Operate wheelchair lifts and other accessibility equipment safely and appropriately.
- Ensure the comfort, care, and safety of residents throughout transportation.
- Drive responsibly and safely under various road and weather conditions.
- Maintain a high level of road safety and ensure the safety of residents, other road users, and the public.
- Carry out regular cleaning and washing of the vehicle according to the assigned schedule.
- Perform basic checks to ensure the vehicle is clean, safe, and roadworthy.
Requirements:
- Valid Class 3 driving licence with at least 2 years of driving experience and a good driving record.
