Production Planner (Operation)
Maintain a clear production plan & execute accordingly for individual production department. Work closely with Operation Manager to achieve Plan vs actual equivalently. Update Superior of Production Status to avoid delays and quality issue timely.
Responsibilities
- Work with management in coordinating and planning production activities to improve runtime.
- Plan Production Tasks & Schedules according to Orders required.
- Develop and review production plan with Managers for approval.
- Monitor the execution of production plan and resolve any potential issues in a timely.
- Escalate complex issues to Manager for resolution.
- Investigate & anticipate production problems root causes and provide solutions.
- Report daily production status to Mangers.
- Analyze back log, current orders and upcoming orders to prioritize and plan accordingly for production operations.
- Coordinate with Managers in planning and implementing engineering changes in production lines.
- Plan inventory management processes to avoid shortages and excesses.
- Monitor production progress and ensure that final product meets quality standards and customer specifications.
- Adhere to company standards and production policies to meet company objectives.
- Analyze delays and interruptions and accordingly adjust production schedule to meet deadlines.
- Maintain reports for production planning activities and sequences.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Engineering or 3 years in metal fabrication planning.
- Responsible for task dateline.
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Sheet Metal or Machining environment.
- Knowledge in all related machines & tools respectively.
- Excellent time management, planning, organization and prioritization skills
- Well-organized and detailed oriented professional, with strong verbal and written communication skills
