Job Purpose/Summary:

This role is based in Singapore. The roleholder is responsible for accelerating Allianz Commercial Asia's transformation, innovation, and growth agenda by acting as a strategic bridge between Asia, Global Organizational Management, Allianz Technology, and Allianz Group functions, ensuring regional teams fully leverage existing capabilities, expertise, solutions, and best practices. Working across countries, functions, Allianz Technology, and Group stakeholders, the roleholder identifies organizational pain points, growth opportunities, and capability gaps; facilitates the adoption and scaling of AI, automation, and digital solutions; and enables the execution of regional priorities through effective stakeholder alignment, cross-functional collaboration, and mobilization of the appropriate resources and expertise. Success is measured through improved organizational effectiveness, accelerated execution, increased adoption of enterprise capabilities, and the delivery of tangible business outcomes across the region.

Key Responsibilities

Process Improvement

  • Drive the execution of the Improvements program with LoB & APAC Regional Heads / CXO areas based on the agreed roadmap with an aim to reduce complexity, drive higher throughput through the value streams of the organization.
  • Have an up to date working knowledge of the various Regional improvement initiatives, understands and leverages global solutions for regional improvements, and is the point of contact for cross functional teams for reference and information.
  • Responsible for the management and analysis of issues within engagement, plan delivery with a realized benefit, steers the team to achieve expected results
  • Act as the primary interface for Finance related process and system improvements into region, translating business requirements into practical solutions and addressing reporting and data gaps across systems

Resource Management

  • Identify the appropriate resources and skills needed to design and execute improvement projects. Manage the resources required to operate at optimal utilization, efficiency and effectiveness to achieve agreed business and functional goals.
  • Set clear targets and performance, manage these accordingly.
  • Plan and manage career development, training and development for the team globally.
  • Create mechanisms, fora or meetings that improve collaboration between cross functional teams and where joint targets have been agreed.
  • Participate in group initiatives and relevant group functional committee.

Global Standards & Methodology Execution

  • Be responsible for executing and leading initiatives according to agreed Agile, Project Management, SPA, Process Mining and other relevant methodologies.
  • Feedback experience and real-live best practices, to continuously improve global standards and approach.

Process Technology

  • Drive adoption in the organization of current process technologies capabilities (RPA, Process Mining, O365 Automation, AI/ML).
  • Support team and business partners to test new technologies and to identify the most appropriate solution based on specific use cases.
  • Coordinate the delivery of Finance technology improvements, including requirements definition, prioritisation and resolution of cross-system reporting and data issues
  • Develop a strong understanding of the region’s core systems and their interdependencies, and work with business and Technology stakeholders to identify and deliver opportunities to optimise system performance, integration and reporting.

Stakeholder and Change Management

  • Ensure early engagement with regional stakeholders on known hot spots and future demand, outlining a vision of the to-be state, and continuously keeping them informed of progress and issues.
  • Ensure continued cooperation towards successful completion of the improvement projects and benefits realization.
  • Develop and positively influence key, strategic position holders across functions.
  • Support Global Process management colleagues where interdependencies demand collaborative action and teamwork.
  • Ensure timely and transparent information to the Practice Head, Local stakeholders, i.e. accurate and relevant decision support material.
  • Provide progress reports, outlining risks and issues in a timely manner so that the governance bodies can avoid business risks and make critical decisions.

Global Capability Lead

To lead and provide strategic oversight on the Microsoft 365 capability portfolio, managing a team of IT consultants and defining the strategy, governance, and service roadmap for O365 solutions. Responsible for delivering secure, scalable, and user-centric collaboration services, driving adoption, optimizing user experience, and enabling business transformation through digital workplace technologies.

Key Experience / Requirements / Skills

Required Experience

  • Experience in the domain of practice of the role and preferably experience in the insurance industry domain.
  • Project management and line management experience.
  • Cross-cultural and international work experience.

Required Education

  • Business Administration Degree/Masters or similar. Operations Management, Management Sciences, Engineering Management, Technology and Management.
  • Professional Training Qualification preferred, e.g. OPEX, Lean 6 Sigma, PRINCE II, MSP,ITIL, OPS Management.

Technical Skills

  • Analytical skills: break complex subjects into manageable pieces; determine status quo, business requirements, target and course of action.
  • Project Management: from individual task management to ability to manage large complex projects.
  • Change Management, including stakeholder management, change curve, communication.
  • Consulting skills: relationship management, customer satisfaction, understand customer needs, build CBA & Business Case, facilitation, consult business.
  • Process Technology: understanding of process technologies application in Insurance industry.
  • You should be able to integrate AI-driven insights into your work to optimize outcomes and support broader organizational goals.

General Skills
