*Millwork Finisher*
**This role is a new headcount for a full-time, permanent position*
AWFI is a custom Canadian millwork and manufacturing firm specializing in architectural millwork commercial projects that has been operating in the Toronto area for over 20 years. We are AWMAC award winning and LEED certified and educated in the Disney Approach to quality service and have produced millwork in over 1600 construction projects internationally, 1000 of which in the greater Toronto area alone.

We are looking for Millwork Finisher to join our team. We are a company who is growing at a fast pace and this role will be critical to our success. If you answer yes to several of the questions below, we want to hear from you.

*Responsibilities*
- Understanding the best paints, stains and finishes for different types of wood
- Apply finishes to architectural woodwork, including stains, lacquer based paints, and sealers, using both spay guns and manual brush strokes.
- Work with different types of paint finishes for interior and exterior applications.
- Match and apply stains, paints and finishes to various surfaces.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace for efficiency and safety.
- Perform shading and other detailed finishing techniques as needed.
*Requirements:*
- Spray booth experience
- HVLP guns; Kremlin and Graco preferred
- Manual touch ups
- Minimum five years experience as millwork finisher
- Working in a millwork shop; exposed to wood, sawdust, paint fumes
- Capable for standing for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift 10-20 pounds
- Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 5pm, Fridays 7:30am to 3pm
