HR Administrator
Location: Worcester Salary: £26,281 – £28,000 per annum, depending on experience Hours: 37 hours per week Contract: 12-month fixed-term contract
All Solutions Recruitment is currently recruiting for an HR Administrator on behalf of a well-established organisation based in Worcester.
This is a varied administration role supporting a small but busy organisation across HR, recruitment, training, systems and general administration.
You do not need previous HR experience for this position. We are looking for a strong all-round administrator who is organised, confident communicating with people and able to manage and prioritise a varied workload.
This would suit someone who has experience in a busy office environment and is looking to develop their career further within HR and people administration.
The Role
The successful candidate will support with a wide range of administrative duties, including:
- Supporting recruitment processes, including job adverts, applications, shortlisting and interview arrangements
- Preparing new starter paperwork and supporting onboarding and induction
- Maintaining accurate and confidential employee records
- Assisting with general HR administration and responding to employee and manager queries
- Supporting absence, performance and other employee-related administration
- Assisting with the review and updating of policies and procedures
- Maintaining and updating HR systems and employee information
- Producing basic reports and management information
- Coordinating internal and external training
- Maintaining training records and monitoring attendance
- Preparing training materials, presentations and guidance
- Providing administration support for meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes and maintaining action logs
- Maintaining records relating to staff IT equipment and system access
- Liaising with external providers when required
- Assisting with invoices, purchase requests and basic budget administration
About You
HR experience is not essential. The most important thing is that you have strong administration skills and are confident managing a varied workload.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Previous experience in a general administration or office-based role
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organisation and attention to detail
- The ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing deadlines
- A professional and approachable manner
- The ability to handle confidential information appropriately
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
- The confidence to communicate with colleagues, managers and external contacts
- The ability to work independently and use initiative
- A willingness to learn and develop their knowledge of HR and people administration
Previous HR experience or a CIPD qualification would be advantageous, but is not essential.
Additional Information
The role will involve working across multiple local sites, so the ability to travel between locations is required.
An enhanced DBS check may also be required for the successful candidate.
