Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with hands-on semiconductor equipment maintenance background to plan, coordinate and deliver equipment service, upgrade and installation projects. The role requires strong technical knowledge of semiconductor fab equipment, demonstrated project management skills, and the ability to work across stakeholders including engineering, operations, customers and vendors.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of equipment maintenance, repair, installation and upgrade projects from initiation to close-out.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams: field technicians, process engineers, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Develop project plans, schedules, resource allocations, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Ensure projects meet quality, safety and customer requirements; manage technical change requests and scope control.
• Track project progress and KPIs; prepare status reports and present updates to stakeholders and customers.
• Provide technical guidance for troubleshooting, root-cause analysis and preventive maintenance strategies.
• Manage spare parts and logistics coordination for rapid response repairs.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, company policies and fab site requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime, cost and cycle time.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science or related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in semiconductor equipment maintenance, field service or equipment engineering; at least 2 years in a project leadership or coordination role.
• Hands-on experience with maintenance/repair of semiconductor capital equipment (e.g., deposition, etch, CMP, lithography, metrology, or related systems).
• Strong understanding of semiconductor fab processes, cleanroom protocols and EHS requirements.
• Solid knowledge of mechanical, vacuum, electrical and control systems used in semiconductor tools.
• Proven project management skills: scheduling, budgeting, resource planning, risk management.
• Excellent communication skills in English; ability to interact with customers and cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to be on-call for critical support and travel to customer sites within Singapore and occasionally in the region.
• Certifications such as PMP or equivalent are a plus.
