Associate Market Access Director – European market

About the role As Associate Market Access Director, you will shape and execute market access strategies for ALK’s product portfolio, with a particular focus on Europe. You will translate clinical, economic and real-world evidence into compelling value propositions that support HTA submissions, reimbursement decisions and successful product launches. You will be part of an international team and report to the Head of Market Access. You will lead EU-focused market access, HEOR and real-world evidence projects across therapeutic areas and geographies. Your responsibilities will include: Developing and adapting global core value dossiers to meet EU requirements.
Creating payer-focused value communication and supporting HTA submissions.
Working with affiliates, licensees and other partners to achieve optimal pricing and reimbursement.
Building trusted relationships with payers and HTA bodies.
Supporting portfolio prioritisation and market access growth projects.
Managing scientific HEOR publications and value communication strategies.
Collaborating with clinical development, lifecycle management and other functions to integrate market access into decision-making.
About you You have 10+ years of experience in market access and a proven track record of supporting or leading successful medical product launches. You bring strong knowledge of EU market access, HTA, HEOR, real-world evidence and payer engagement, as well as experience working in partner-led operating models with licensees, distributors, affiliates and other external organisations. You hold a master’s degree in natural sciences or a closely related discipline. As an experienced indirect leader, you can drive cross-functional processes and launches without direct line-management responsibility. You are comfortable working autonomously and taking ownership in complex international environments. A strategic and pragmatic thinker, you connect global objectives with local market realities and develop practical, solutions-oriented approaches. You have excellent influencing, stakeholder-management, communication, negotiation and presentation skills, and can build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, payers, HTA bodies and external partners. You are collaborative and culturally aware, with the ability to work effectively across functions, geographies and partner networks.
