Accounts Payable Accountant

ALK ABELLÓ is on an ambitious journey to become the preferred allergy company globally. Traditionally, ALK has been a strongly marketing and process driven organization. With a rapidly changing healthcare environment, subsequently leading to increased dynamics within global marketing, there is a need to be more closely linked to the local customer needs and allergy markets. In order to do so, we are now looking for a new colleague to join our Accounts Payable Team in European Accounting Center, a part of ALK GBSC in Poland.

While working at this role, you will be responsible for: PO and Non-PO Invoice processing and codding in SAP

Payments preparation and processing in SAP and on the bank

Open items management on trade and GR/IR accounts

Solving queries with vendors and local finance

Month End and Year End tasks according to MEC/YEC calendar

Preparing Balance Sheet accounts reconciliation according to the checklist

Performing Internal Controls and support Audit requests

Maintaining up-to-date process documentation

Continuous improvement/Standardization/other projects

Requirements: Bachelor/Master or equivalent education, preferably in accounting or finance area would be an asset but is not required

At least 2 years of professional experience working in Accounts Payable, preferably within a SSC environment

Excellent interpersonal and communications skills

Analytical skills and problem-solving approach

Attention to details and high level of accuracy

Well organized, meticulous

Focused on customers’ needs and satisfaction

Honesty, trustworthy and respectful

SAP knowledge

Very good Polish and English skills

Knowledge of other languages will be an asset but is not required for this position
