*Job Overview* We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Manager to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a thorough understanding of accounting principles. This role is essential in ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, managing accounts payable, and overseeing budgeting processes. The Accounting Manager will play a key role in maintaining financial integrity and supporting corporate finance initiatives.

*Main Responsibilities:*

• Supervise end-to-end accounts payable, including receiving, verifying, and entering invoices within required timeframes, and preparing payments on time
• Oversee end-to-end accounts receivable, including issuing invoices and packing slips, receiving payments, and reconciling AR statements
• Maintain accurate records and filing, ensuring documentation is properly coded and attached in the accounting/ERP system
• Respond to vendor and customer inquiries and reconcile AP/AR statements of account in a timely manner.
• Record and reconcile bank and credit card statements, match receipts, and resolve discrepancies and variances
• Book and reconcile intercompany transactions
• Support external audits from the accounting firm, CRA, and other government agencies
• Lead monthly financial close and prepare financial reports required by government agencies and management
• Prepare and file monthly GST returns
• Perform other accounting and payroll duties as assigned by management

*Qualifications:*

• Bachelor?s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred
• At least 3 years of relevant experience for full accounting cycles.
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong MS Excel skills
• QuickBooks or ERP experience
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Excellent work ethic, self-motivated
