Master's degree. Agricultural business and management, general. Food science.
Work setting:
Food processing plant.
Tasks:
- Direct quality control inspections.
- Hire, supervise and train or oversee training of employees in the use of new equipment or production techniques.
- Plan and implement changes to machinery and equipment, production systems and methods of work.
- Set up, operate and tend machinery used for mixing, calendering, extruding, moulding and curing rubber materials or rubber products.
- Plan and maintain production schedules.
- Develop and implement quality control programs.
Supervision:
11-15 people.
Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses :
- British retail consortium (BRC) food and safety Certification.
- Hazard Analysis and Criticial Control Points (HACCP) Certification.
- Knowledge of the Canadian Food Inspection Agency.
