QA/QC Engineer (AWS, CSWIP/Steel Fabrication Ind./West Area)

Support the QA/QC Manager in quality assurance and control activities to ensure project requirements are met. Conduct welding and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT)inspections to verify compliance with specifications and quality standards. Coordinate quality requirements and specifications with production teams, class surveyors, and customers. Prepare and maintain quality records, inspection reports, and project documentation upon job completion. Support ISO quality audits in collaboration with the Management Committee to maintain certification standards. Prepare and submit quality documentation for client approval to facilitate project progress. Perform incoming goods and final inspections to ensure product quality and compliance before delivery. Identify and report non-conforming products, supporting timely corrective and preventive actions.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar QA/QC role within steel fabrication or related industries.
• Welding Inspector certification such as AWS, CSWIP, or equivalent is preferred.
• Familiarity with steel materials, welding processes, NDT and destructive testing methods.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with personnel at all levels.
• Own transport is preferred to facilitate site visits and inspections.
