About the company
An important company in the logistics sector, located in Dosquebradas, requires a Logistics Operations Manager for its work team, a professional with experience leading distribution, transport, and/or supply chain operations.
Your tasks
JOB OBJECTIVE Plan, coordinate, control, and optimize the logistics operation, guaranteeing compliance with service levels, delivery times, management indicators, and objectives established by the company, as well as the adequate administration of human, physical, and technological resources.
MAIN FUNCTIONS
- Lead and guarantee the correct execution of collection, processing, distribution, and delivery processes.
- Plan and coordinate the activities necessary for the optimal development of the operation.
- Perform permanent monitoring of management indicators, productivity, quality, and service levels.
- Identify improvement opportunities and establish action plans to optimize processes and resources.
- Lead work teams, monitoring their performance and achievement of objectives.
- Coordinate and monitor providers and allies related to the operation.
- Guarantee the adequate and efficient use of assigned resources.
- Manage news and incidents that may affect the continuity and quality of service.
- Prepare and analyze management reports for decision-making.
- Guarantee compliance with internal procedures, policies, and applicable regulations.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, health, and environmental standards.
- Participate in continuous improvement and operation optimization projects.
- Monitor processes and establish corrective and preventive actions when necessary.
- Guarantee the availability and adequate administration of the resources required for the development of the operation.
Requirements
We are looking for a person with leadership, analytical capacity, results orientation, and experience in managing teams and indicators, who guarantees the efficiency and continuity of the operation.
- Professional in Administration, Industrial Engineering, Logistics Engineering, Logistics Administration, Process Engineering, Commerce, or related careers.
- Desirable specialization or complementary training in Logistics, Operations, Supply Chain, or related areas.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in logistics operations and/or leadership positions.
- Experience leading work teams.
- Experience in managing and monitoring management indicators.
- Knowledge in logistics, distribution, transport, and supply chain.
- Proficiency in office tools, especially Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of management systems and regulations applicable to the sector.
- High level of English.
- Must have a private vehicle and availability for travel related to the operation.
