Lead Developer - Coordination Technique (M/F)

Context A world leader in the manufacturing of electro-optical components used for the detection of ions, electrons, and photons. The company innovates and designs high-quality components intended to be integrated into various applications such as night vision optics, digital cameras, mass spectrometry, physics research, space exploration, and many others.

Missions:

• Ensure the operational and technical management of IT applications, in order to guarantee their availability, evolution, and alignment with user needs.
• Act as a technical reference for the development team and business units.
• Coordinate evolution requests.
• Actively participate in the design, development, and maintenance of applications within the scope.

Description of main activities:

> Coordination of business requests:

• Collect and analyze needs expressed by users.
• Qualify and formalize evolution requests.
• Participate in the evaluation of workloads and impacts.
• Ensure the interface between business teams and the development team.
• Prioritize requests in collaboration with the Application Support Manager.

> Operational management:

• Organize the processing of requests and incidents.
• Distribute activities among team members.
• Ensure monitoring of development progress.
• Ensure compliance with priorities, deadlines, and expected quality.
• Provide regular reporting on the progress of activities.

> Technical expertise and development:

• Actively participate in the development of applications within the scope.
• Perform technical analyses and feasibility studies.
• Define the technical directions of developments.
• Participate in code reviews and technical validations.
• Guarantee the technical consistency of the implemented solutions.

> Maintenance and continuous improvement:

• Participate in corrective and evolutionary maintenance activities.
• Identify opportunities for technical improvement.
• Contribute to the improvement of development and support methods.
• Participate in the modernization of existing applications.

Documentation and knowledge transfer:

• Maintain up-to-date technical and functional documentation.
• Capitalize on knowledge related to the applications.
• Ensure the transfer of skills within the team.

Responsibilities:

• Technical reference for specific industrial applications.
• Operational coordination of development activities.
• Guarantee of the technical consistency of evolutions.
• Support for key users and business teams.
• Participation in technical decisions concerning the applications within the scope.

Coordination activities:

• Lead activity follow-up meetings.
• Ensure daily coordination of the team.
• Facilitate exchanges between business units and developers.
• Participate in the definition of operational priorities.
• Contribute to the improvement of the team organization.

Necessary knowledge: Higher education in IT or equivalent experience. Mastery of .NET technologies (VB.NET / C#). Good knowledge of SQL Server / Oracle databases. Knowledge of industrial environments and production processes. Knowledge of software development methods. Professional English.
