As a driving force for digitalization in testing, you will complement physical tests with virtual methods, precisely correlate simulation and test results, and develop forward-looking, data-based testing strategies. From in-depth analysis to fatigue life verification, you will ensure the robustness of our components and derive innovative and sustainable optimization potential directly from static and dynamic simulation results. For maximum efficiency in everyday development, you will cleverly automate our simulation processes and seamlessly integrate state-of-the-art Machine-Learning and AI approaches into the workflow. Always keeping an eye on the latest state of the art, you will lead demanding method development projects to continuously expand and refine our calculation methodology. As a competent contact person, you will advise our development teams from design and testing on all structural mechanics issues and drive global knowledge exchange through active support of our worldwide hubs.

It would be WOW if you bring the following:

Relevant professional experience in structural simulation (FEM) in the field of product development, paired with deep and sound knowledge in technical mechanics and numerics. High innovative strength, reflected in your practical experience or your strong interest in modern AI and KI methods (e.g., surrogate models, Data-Driven Engineering) in the simulation environment. A pronounced understanding of complex systems, with which you will drive the digitalization of testing processes and actively shape the close interface between physical testing and virtual calculation. Comprehensive knowledge in computational component design (with a focus on plastics and metals), know-how in design as well as computer-oriented material theory - ideally perfectly complemented by Hyperworks experience. Good English skills and a global networking mentality to confidently and communicatively enrich the worldwide knowledge exchange with our international teams and simulation hubs.
