The center of alfanar’s industrial activities is alfanar Industrial Complex situated in the Third Industrial Zone on Al-Kharj Road, Riyadh.

Spread across 700,000 square meters, the complex houses alfanar’s facilities.

The complex has a comprehensive infrastructure including a data and communication center as well as a commercial zone.

Job purpose

To support the development and continuous improvement of warehouse operations through process analysis, performance monitoring, operational coordination, and implementation of improvement initiatives, with a focus on enhancing efficiency, productivity, safety, quality, cost effectiveness, and resource utilization.

Functional responsibilities

Operational development:

Analyze warehouse processes and performance to identify opportunities for efficiency, productivity, safety, and cost improvement.

Conduct process reviews to identify operational gaps, bottlenecks, and optimization opportunities.

Support the implementation of process improvements, technology, and automation solutions.

Prepare operational analyses, reports, and recommendations for continuous improvement initiatives.

Operational support & performance:

Monitor warehouse performance against established KPIs, standards, and procedures.

Analyze operational data and trends to identify deviations and improvement opportunities.

Provide technical guidance on warehouse processes, systems, and procedures within the assigned area.

Track improvement actions and report progress, issues, and outcomes.

Cross-functional & vendor coordination:

Coordinate with relevant functions on warehouse operational requirements and improvement activities.

Participate in cross-functional initiatives to improve supply chain workflows and resolve operational bottlenecks.

Coordinate with vendors and service providers on warehouse operational and technical requirements.

Compliance, safety & quality:

Monitor warehouse processes for compliance with company policies, SOPs, safety requirements, and applicable standards.

Participate in safety audits, risk assessments, inspections, and quality reviews.

Identify operational risks and compliance gaps and provide recommendations for corrective actions.

Inventory & resource management:

Monitor inventory processes and analyze data to identify variances, discrepancies, and improvement opportunities.

Support initiatives to improve inventory accuracy and resource utilization.

Monitor the availability and condition of warehouse equipment, tools, and facilities.

Provide recommendations to improve warehouse space, equipment, and resource utilization.

General responsibilities

HR proficiency:

Ability to obtain updated soft and technical skills related to the job.

Delivery:

Perform the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.

Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.

Provide a periodic report formatted by detailing the deviation and execution of planned tasks.

Problem-solving:

Solve any related problems that arise and escalate any complex operational issues.

Quality:

Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products or processes or related activities.

Business process improvements:

Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automation opportunities as much as possible.

Compliance:

Comply with related policy and procedures and work instructions.

Health, safety, and environment:

Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.

Qualification

Bachelor in Business Administration or any relevant field
