Senior Engineer Architectural Design
Job purpose
The senior architectural design engineer is responsible for leading architectural design development from concept through detailed design, reviewing coordinated deliverables, managing multidisciplinary coordination, and ensuring compliance with project requirements, applicable codes, BIM requirements, and quality standards.
Functional responsibilities
Lead architectural design development from concept through schematic and detailed design stages.
Prepare and review architectural drawings, Revit models, construction documents, details, schedules, and presentation materials.
Lead coordination with structural, MEP, landscape, interior design, and other disciplines.
Review multidisciplinary drawings, identify clashes and design conflicts, and ensure their resolution.
Ensure compliance with project requirements, building codes, authority regulations, client standards, and BIM requirements.
Review architectural materials, finishes, specifications, and construction details.
Manage comments received from clients, consultants, authorities, and internal review teams.
Lead design submissions, technical reviews, coordination meetings, and design option studies.
Review team deliverables, provide technical guidance, and ensure project deadlines are achieved.
Required software skills
Autodesk Revit Architecture
AutoCAD
3ds Max and V-Ray, Corona, or similar rendering software
Adobe Photoshop
