Job purpose

Key accountability areas

Support start up, testing, and commissioning activities across DMF, UF, SWRO, BWRO, CEDI, GTMDO and chemical injection units.

Support pipeline flushing, hydrotesting, and pre-commissioning activities.

Monitor plant parameters, record operational data as per OEM guidelines.

Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and maintenance of pumps and dosing systems.

Assist in chemical preparation, dosing calibration, and system flushing.

Carry out routine cleaning of strainers, cartridge filters, and dosing lines.

Inspect pumps, vacuum pumps, blowers, valves, actuators, and instrumentation for proper operation.

Monitor chemical storage levels and support safe unloading and transfer of chemicals.

Perform backwashing, air scouring, and CIP activities for DMF, UF, and RO systems.

Inspect and replace cartridge filters, check SDI/turbidity, and ensure pretreatment integrity.

Track critical process parameters and water parameters to ensure optimal operation of the plant to avoid any concerns of scaling & fouling.

Calibrate online conductivity/resistivity, pH, ORP, DO, CO2, and flow/pressure instruments. Conduct routine grab sampling: conductivity, silica, DO & sodium and reconcile with online analyzers.
