DAR Engineering, a leading design and engineering consulting organization in Saudi Arabia engaged in power generation, electrical transmission and distribution, health care and high rise buildings.

Job purpose

This position exists to perform planning and scheduling maintenance to machines efficiently, in a timely manner and quality standards as per the defined policies and procedures to achieve departmental operational plans and developments.

Functional responsibilities

Schedule manpower and material availability according to the plan and effectively use to execute the mechanical jobs for motor division.

Perform electric motors services, installation, laser alignment, commissioning, mechanical inspection, fault identification, root cause analysis.

Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, repair and commissioning of HT/LT/DC and rotating equipment’s.

Perform methods of mechanical repairs and calculations and drawings.

Apply international standards, AutoCAD 2018/2020 and laser alignment.

General responsibilities

Delivery:

Perform the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.

Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.

Provide a periodic report formatted by detailing the deviation and execution of planned tasks.

Problem-solving:

Resolve any related problems that arise and escalate any complex operational issues.

Quality:

Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products or processes or related activities.

Business process improvement (Effectiveness):

Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automation opportunities as much as possible.

Compliance:

Comply with related policy, procedures and work instructions.

Health & safety:

Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products and services.

Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering
