Responsibilities and assignments English Language Professor – Responsibilities and Assignments Responsibilities and Assignments: Plan and teach English classes in a didactic, dynamic, and contextualized manner, according to the institution's pedagogical proposal and the BNCC guidelines; Develop activities and complementary materials that stimulate the scientific and critical thinking of students; Use active methodologies, digital resources, and experimental practices to make the content more accessible and interesting; Evaluate student performance through diagnostic, formative, and summative instruments, recording results according to defined deadlines; Participate in pedagogical meetings, class councils, continuing education, and school events; Monitor student development, maintaining continuous communication with the pedagogical coordination and, when necessary, with families; Promote a welcoming, inclusive, and motivating learning environment, respecting student diversity; Collaborate with interdisciplinary projects, science fairs, and other educational initiatives of the school.
Requirements and qualifications Previous experience as an English Language professor in Early Childhood Education, Early Years, and Final Years will be considered a differentiator; Mastery of the curricular contents of the discipline, as well as modern pedagogical practices; Familiarity with the use of educational technologies and digital platforms (Google Classroom, Microsoft Teams, among others); Ability to work with active methodologies (flipped classroom, project-based learning, gamification, etc.); Good communication, organization, proactivity, and responsibility; Commitment to the integral formation of students and to the educational mission of the institution.
