The Role On behalf of our client, we are seeking an HR Administrator to join a dynamic HR team. This role supports the full employee lifecycle and helps ensure smooth onboarding, off-boarding, and day-to-day HR operations. Reporting to the HR Business Partner, you will work closely with the Head of HR, Senior HR Administrator, and Payroll Specialist. This generalist position offers exposure to records management, learning and development coordination, graduate recruitment, and performance management. Responsibilities will include Coordinate onboarding and off-boarding, ensuring a smooth experience for joining and departing colleagues. Maintain accurate employee records and prepare HR reports. Coordinate learning and development activities, including exam results and internal academy administration. Support the coordination of graduate recruitment. Maintain and update the People and Culture intranet. Coordinate absence administration and records. Coordinate annual performance management administration. Share responsibility for monitoring the HR inbox and responding to queries. Support the wider team with projects and other activities as they arise.

The Person The ideal candidate is an organised, proactive professional with a solid grounding in HR administration and a keen desire to develop their expertise. Organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities and see tasks through to completion. Proactive problem-solver who approaches challenges with practical solutions. Strong attention to detail, delivering accurate work and clear communication. Resourceful in using available tools and guidance to navigate unfamiliar tasks. Discreet, with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.

The Salary Up to £30,000

The Hours: Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm with 1 hour for lunch (35 hours)

The Location: Central Bristol – hybrid working (no car parking)
