Finance Operations Manager

I'm currently recruiting for a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Finance Operations Manager to join a well-established and growing business based in Surrey. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys leading teams, improving processes and driving operational excellence across finance.

The Role Reporting into senior finance leadership, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day finance operations function, managing a team of approximately 8 people across: Accounts Payable (AP) Credit Control & Collections Billing & Invoicing Key Responsibilities: Lead, develop and motivate a team of 10 across AP, Credit Control and Billing. Oversee daily finance operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and strong financial controls. Drive improvements across billing, collections and payment processes. Manage KPIs, aged debt, cash collection performance and supplier payments. Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve systems and introduce automation. Build strong relationships with stakeholders across Finance and the wider business. Support month-end activities, reconciliations and reporting requirements. What We're Looking For: Proven experience managing finance operations, transactional finance or shared services teams. Strong knowledge of AP, Credit Control and Billing processes. Experience leading and developing teams. A proactive, hands-on approach with a passion for process improvement. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Someone comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
