Assistant Accountant

About the company

Up to £40k Our client is well respected service business with a turnover of around 10m. You will be based in the Nottingham City Centre offices reporting to the FD.

Your tasks

This is an exciting role which is extremely varied offering exposure across all areas of finance. It would suit a “hands-on” Accountant who enjoys playing a key role in the finance function.

• Helping with day to day accounting on invoicing/credit control/bank reconciliation
• Accruals and Prepayments
• Assisting to produce month end/management figures
• Supporting cashflow management and working capital visibility
• Involvement identifying opportunities to improve systems and processes

This is a fantastic role for an individual working in Practice or Industry who wants to work in a fast paced dynamic environment. You will have the opportunity to “business partner” with many other people/divisions within the company and really grow your commercial and accounting acumen.

Requirements

To apply for this role you must have at least 3 years’ accountancy experience. Our client offers study support for AAT/ACCA/CIMA. Qualifications would be advantageous but not essential.

Candidates who are applying from Practice are welcome we need strong book-keeping experience and have had exposure to producing management accounts.
