About the company

*Location: Maidenhead, Berkshire** At Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice Service, we provide specialist care and support to children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions and their families. We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Counsellor to join our Family Support Team and help us make a meaningful difference to the lives of the families we support.

Your tasks

You will provide emotional and bereavement support to children and their families, building trusted relationships from the point of referral through to bereavement and beyond. You will also contribute to the development of our family support services and help deliver family and bereavement support events.

Requirements

If you hold a Diploma in Counselling and have a passion for supporting children, families and those experiencing bereavement, we would love to hear from you.

Counsellor Salary: £15,623–£19,092 per annum (£39,059–£47,730 FTE, pro rata) Hours: 15 hours per week
