Sr Data Engineer

Your tasks

• Design, build, and operate ETL/ELT processes to feed data warehouses, lakehouses, and analytical models.
• Extract, integrate, clean, and transform data from databases, APIs, and flat files.
• Model efficient structures for Power BI and tabular or multidimensional models.
• Automate loads, validations, and information updates for executive reports.
• Ensure data quality, availability, traceability, and consistency.
• Align integrations with data architecture and propose improvements to pipelines.
• Prepare data for Business Analysis, Data Science, and Artificial Intelligence teams.
• Provide technical leadership to a Jr Data Platform Engineer, assigning activities, reviewing deliverables, and driving their development.
• Participate in projects for internal and external clients as a technical reference for the Data Engineering team.

Requirements

What do you need?

• Bachelor's degree in Systems, Informatics, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering, Business Intelligence, or information integration.
• Advanced SQL for complex queries, data transformation, and optimization.
• Experience with ETL/ELT processes in production using SSIS, Talend, Apache NiFi, or similar tools.
• Proficiency in SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or cloud data platforms.
• Experience in data modeling for BI and technical mentorship for junior profiles.
• Intermediate English, technical and conversational.

It will be a plus if you have

• Python for automation and data processing.
• Knowledge of Azure, Microsoft Fabric Dataflows, Lakehouse, Warehouse, and Power BI.
• Experience in consulting or projects with external clients.
