Air Conditioning Technician

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems across the institution’s campuses.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance of AC units.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with facilities management to schedule and prioritize repair tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and parts inventory.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during all service operations.
• Assist in upgrading existing HVAC systems to improve energy efficiency.
• Proven experience as an AC Technician, preferably in an educational or similar setting.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Physical ability to perform installations and repairs, including working at heights if necessary.
• Good communication skills and a proactive approach to maintenance tasks.
• Relevant technical certifications or vocational training in HVAC systems.
• Willingness to comply with safety and operational guidelines and procedures.
