Software Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications using Laravel and PHP.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following development best practices.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA, and other developers to deliver project requirements.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality.
• Maintain and optimize existing systems for performance, scalability, and security.
• Support deployment activities and follow established CI/CD processes.
• Create and maintain technical documentation as needed.
• Stay updated with Laravel, PHP, and related technologies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in PHP development, including at least 2 years of experience using Laravel.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), MVC architecture, RESTful APIs, and MySQL/PostgreSQL.
• Experience using Git for version control.
• Familiarity with Docker and modern deployment practices.
• Good problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Good communication skills and willingness to receive and provide constructive feedback.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as PHPUnit or Pest is a plus.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture is a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP is a plus.
• ⁠Skilled in AI-assisted coding, with the ability to validate and take ownership of AI-generated code
