1 Climate & Nature Risk Expert (f/m/d) How you will leave your mark Your main tasks in this position are:

• Supporting the conception, implementation, and continuous improvement of risk management frameworks, policies, and methodologies
• Advising senior management on emerging risks, opportunities, and strategic implications related to C&N.
• Developing and maintaining methods for assessing physical, transition, liability, and nature-related risks
• Quantifying the impact of C&N risks on portfolios, assets, operations, and business strategies
• Assessing C&N-related vulnerabilities along the ALDI value chain
• Ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory frameworks in our markets as well as relevant global standards, e.g., California climate disclosure regulations, CSRD, and CSDDD.
• Driving continuous improvement of risk methodologies and analytical capabilities
• Evaluating new C&N datasets, modeling approaches, and technological solutions

Your Profile The requirements for this position include:

• You have a professional background in the field of climate risk management and sustainability.
• Sound knowledge of physical risks and transition risks, combined with a solid understanding of financial risk frameworks and regulatory requirements
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex climate data into actionable insights for decision-making
• Proven ability to integrate climate aspects into enterprise-wide risk management and strategic planning
• Effective stakeholder management skills, experience in cross-functional collaboration, and influencing at the leadership level.
• Proactive, structured working style and a good understanding of evolving sustainability standards and frameworks
• You are fluent in business English.

Compensation

Gross annual salary from €62,500* *Willingness to offer higher compensation depending on appropriate qualifications
