1 Consultant Global Communications (f/m/d) How You'll Make Your Mark Your main tasks in this position are:
- You are responsible for supporting and managing external communication activities and the global alignment of the ALDI SÜD Group in various business topics and strategic priorities
- This includes managing reactive media inquiries, collaborating with subject matter experts and country communication teams to develop clear, precise, and timely responses
- You will identify, develop, and support external communication opportunities that strengthen ALDI's reputation and advance strategic business priorities
- You will monitor media coverage and emerging topics, identify reputational risks and opportunities, and provide recommendations to stakeholders
- To this end, you must support the management of reputation-related issues and help prepare communication strategies and materials in sensitive or high-profile situations
- You will work with journalists, media contacts, and communication teams in the ALDI SÜD countries to support consistent external messaging, manage media opportunities, and ensure local relevance where necessary
- You will independently lead communication projects and workflows and ensure that activities are carried out at a high level and within agreed timelines
- Your tasks include cross-functional collaboration, including Sustainability, Purchasing, Human Resources, Legal, Corporate Responsibility, and Operations, to support business priorities through effective external communication
- Contributing to the ongoing development of global external communication processes, tools, and governance complements your area of expertise
Your Profile The requirements for this position:
- You have a degree in Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- You have sound experience in external communication, public relations, corporate communications, journalism, or a related field, either in-house or within an agency environment
- You bring proven experience in managing media relations and supporting collaboration with journalists and external stakeholders.
- A deep understanding of the European media landscape and how editorial offices work, as well as the ability to recognize opportunities and risks, sets you apart
- Furthermore, you bring experience in supporting communication on topics such as reputation, corporate, sustainability, business, or thematic issues; managing third-party stakeholders and collaborating with industry experts
- You bring experience in monitoring media and social channels as well as in assessing potential reputational impacts for an organization
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken; German skills would be an advantage

Salary: 62,500,- willingness to overpay with appropriate qualifications
