Manager Quality Assurance Fruit & Vegetables – national (m/w/d) (Commercial Specialist)

These are your tasks

• Together with your team, you are the reliable contact person for Purchasing, Sales, Supply Chain Management, and our regional companies regarding product knowledge, legal requirements, and internal quality standards for Fruit & Vegetables as well as Flowers & Plants
• Together with your team, you coordinate the incoming goods inspections for Fruit & Vegetables in our regional warehouses and hubs, train employees on-site, and further develop processes and workflows
• You regularly evaluate the results, derive the necessary recommendations for action, measures, and decision templates, and implement them
• You contribute your technical expertise to the creation and implementation of training concepts and materials
• In interdisciplinary teams, you contribute to the successful implementation of national and international projects with your comprehensive knowledge of Fruit & Vegetables

What you bring with you

• Completed studies in Agricultural Sciences, Agricultural Management, Crop Science, or comparable
• 8+ years of professional experience in the agricultural industry, in expert offices/certification bodies, market surveillance, or comparable
• Experience in Project Management
• Leadership experience desirable
• Confident application and interpretation of the relevant German and European legal frameworks, as well as knowledge of the technically relevant certification systems, quality seals, and requirements of consumer magazines and NGOs
• A hands-on mentality, an analytical and structured way of working, as well as strong communication skills and team orientation
• Confident handling of relevant application software as well as good English language skills
