Your tasks
Design and develop backend data objects and data models that provide reliable, analytics-ready data for downstream BI dashboards and reporting solutions Contribute to the continuous evolution of our Lakehouse architecture , including improvements to data storage, organization, scalability, and maintainability Build, maintain, and optimize ETL/ELT data pipelines in Databricks , using PySpark and Spark SQL to process large-scale datasets efficiently Translate business and analytical requirements into scalable data solutions, working closely with BI developers and business- stakeholders Ensure performance, and reliability across the data platform , continuously identifying opportunities to improve existing pipelines and data-processing workflows
Your profile
Several years of hands-on experience developing and maintaining ETL/ELT batch processing pipelines using Databricks in Azure environments Proficiency in Apache Spark, PySpark, Spark SQL for large-scale data processing Solid understanding of modern data storage architectures Knowledge of open table formats and open file formats for scalable data platforms Familiarity with Kimball and Inmon architecture principles Proven experience handling large-scale datasets and optimizing data processing performance for efficiency and scalability Proficiency in German and English , both spoken and written
