Category Manager - Freezer (m/f/d) (Commercial Specialist)

These are your tasks

• Organization of procurement activities: You manage procurement projects within your product group
• Negotiating contracts: You take care of contract negotiations with our suppliers and always keep an eye on supplier performance
• Assortment analyses: You undertake the analysis of the existing assortment as well as new product innovations
• International cooperation: You work with the Procurement departments of the ALDI Nord countries
• Product optimization: You work on further developing products and integrating exciting trends and innovations into our assortment
• Product responsibility: You take responsibility for international items and their specifications within your product areas

This is what you bring with you

• You have successfully completed a Bachelor's degree or training as a Handelsfachwirt
• You already have several years of experience in purchasing
• Ideally, you have already gained experience in food retail or the food industry
• You have business-fluent English skills
