Laboratory Testing Technician M/F

As part of the Laboratory's objectives and in order to meet the competitiveness and quality requirements of ALDES products, the Testing Technician performs tests, operates, and interprets the results of standard tests.

You will join the team under the responsibility of Yann Breton, Group laboratory manager.

This position will lead you to collaborate daily with product project groups and their representatives within the operations management hubs, as well as with all other primarily technical hubs (Design Office, Electricity/ Electronics, quality, purchasing, marketing…). You will also exchange with suppliers and external laboratories as part of the testing process.

In this context, your missions will be to:

Perform controls, tests, and trials by:

• Setting up the measurement chain necessary for performing the tests
• Ensuring test setups
• Performing controls, tests, and trials based on information and requests transmitted by the laboratory pilot and/or their hierarchical manager
• Verifying product compliance and performing performance monitoring at regular intervals

Analyze and interpret test results by:

• Recording settings and the registration of obtained measurements
• Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting test results
• For standard tests, by writing, distributing, and archiving test reports
• For complex tests, by communicating results to the laboratory pilot

Guarantee the reliability of testing means by:

• Ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of equipment and apparatus
• Designing, developing, and managing non-structural testing means
• Participating in the definition, commissioning, and qualification of new structural testing means
• Participating in the drafting of operating procedures and associated processing sheets

You have a Bac +2 level training in BTS/DUT physical measurements ideally – or a mechanical-design profile.

You have experience in a laboratory with the performance of physical-type tests

You know how to measure the reliability of testing means and compile monitoring files to ensure test traceability

You are comfortable with certification/testing standards and regulations

And you master the Office suite and ideally have knowledge of LIMS – database

Your skills:

• Analytical and synthesis skills in order to interpret information from test requests
• Proactive in proposing improvements for products and testing means
• Good interpersonal skills within the framework of teamwork in project mode (between 8 and 15 people)

• You have a level of technical English (reading)
• And a B driver's license to travel to the various required sites
